Let's Make a Decision
We got back from Brazil on Saturday morning and now have hundreds of things we want to accomplish in our new apartment. Even though I know it takes a long time to make a house a home, I wish I could snap my fingers and our place would come together, just like that. I blame this on being a Virgo. Long stretches of disorganization stress me out. Being a Virgo also means I tend to overthink decisions. I should have been unpacking boxes and going through piles of mail last night. Instead, I spent an hour obsessing over which hamper to get. That's right, sixty precious minutes wasted on receptacles for dirty laundry. Imagine how long it's going to take me to make bigger, more important decisions, like which dining room table to get. After I finally chose one, I realized that I need to be more efficient with my decision making, and that's where you, my friends and family and anonymous readers come in. I was thinking I could put up a post whenever I'm having a hard time making a home-improvement decision and you could help steer me in the right direction. What do you say?
Tonight, I'm trying to make a decision about Nico and Leo's room. Their room doesn't get much light, so we painted it Benjamin Moore's super white and now want to cover one wall with fun wallpaper. I've finally narrowed it down to the three above and am ready to pick one.
I'm leaning toward the first one, from Cavern. I think the turquoise will work well with the white in their room and love that it includes drawings by children from Casa de Milagros, a Peruvian orphanage. All proceeds go to the orphanage as well. As of last night, Nico was all about the second one, because he's in the middle of a jellyfish obsession. The third one is from Dwell Studio and has such great shades of blue, but I worry about it feeling too babyish too soon.
Now, I can't promise I'll listen to you, but which one do you think would work best in a bedroom for two little Brooklyn boys?

I like the third as well!
Thanks so much to all of you, although maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Now I think I'm more unsure about which way to go and wish I could somehow use all three!
